I am Christopher Elawa, a designer currently living in Brooklyn, New York.

As the product of multiple cultural exchanges, my work seeks to empower individuals and communities to build culture and drive social progress.
I am currently a product designer on the Nonprofits team at Meta, where I help build and grow fundraising products that empower people and nonprofit organizations to raise billions of dollars for causes important to them.

In addition to designing products for social progress, I believe in the importance of empowering others to do the same.
At Meta I help lead the Black@Design employee resource group and I have volunteered in design education with Inneract Project &  Black Boys Code .

Situated in Lenapehoking, the traditional and unceded homeland of the Lenape.

I was born in Jos, Nigeria, spent my middle childhood in Vancouver, Canada and graduated from highschool in Jos. After which I attended SFU in Vancouver.
