I am Christopher Elawa, a product designer and cultural worker currently living in Oakland, California.

As the product of multiple cultural exchanges, my work seeks to empower individuals and communities to build culture and drive social progress.
I am currently a product designer on the Social Impact team at Meta, where I help build and grow fundraising products that empower people and nonprofit organizations to raise billions of dollars for causes important to them.

At Meta I help lead the Black@Design employee resource group and I have volunteered in design education with Inneract Project &  Black Boys Code .

I was born in Jos, Nigeria, spent my middle childhood in Vancouver, Canada and graduated from highschool in Jos. After which I attended SFU in Vancouver.
